Capturing India, in between moments

Selected Works

In India, the street doesn’t wait for you to compose. It unfolds, and you either see it or you miss it.

Under His Eyes

KR Market, Bangalore 5 a.m. The flowers came before the light did. Between Dr. Ambedkar and the goddess, she waits for the morning to move.
I am Kevin Sreenath.
I grew up in Trivandrum, Kerala, a city that taught me to look slowly.
The camera has always been with me. But it was the streets of India that gave it a purpose. The colour, the chaos, the quiet moments hiding inside the loud ones, I couldn’t stop photographing them.
What I look for is simple, the moment just before or just after the in-between. The pause that most people walk past without noticing.
That is where India lives, I think.
